I’m a product design leader who cares most about the work that hasn’t been done before. I’m drawn to 0-to-1 challenges where the problem isn’t fully formed yet and the design has real stakes. Over 15 years I’ve led work at companies including Instacart, SoFi, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Circle, shipping products that earned design patents, set design standards across organizations, and moved meaningful numbers.

Outside of product work I build things for myself too. I shipped an iOS app called Breath by Breath, wrote a Figma plugin that my team used company-wide, and I’m an active landscape photographer based in the Pacific Northwest.

I design for the moments when users decide whether to trust a product.
That requires clarity about what problem you’re solving, discipline in what you choose to remove, and the conviction to push beyond the safe answer when it falls short.
